Noisy rooms. The hotel is in front of a busy avenue and windows doesn't isolate the noisy properly, people walking in the aisles in the middle of the night making loud sounds, it was terrible sleep there.

FAQs about hotels in São Paulo

A Metropolis on the Edge of the Rainforest

Skyscrapers and the frenzy of busy Sao Paulo are matched by countless gastronomic offerings, endless cultural activities, and a busy nightlife.

Founded by Jesuits in 1554, the city also known as Sampa became a powerful industrial hub in the late 19th century with Greater Sao Paulo home to 20 million inhabitants. Attracting immigrants from all over the world, it became the most ethnically diverse city in Brazil.

Walk down Avenida Paulista and immerse yourself in one of the biggest economic centers in the world. This avenue also represents the heart of Brazil’s cultural scene, hosting numerous venues. Don’t miss the Museu de Arte de Sao Paulo, home of the biggest collection of Western Art in Latin America.

You can find Sao Paulo hotels in the lively center, but if you’re looking for a more relaxed atmosphere you should check out hotels in Sao Paulo's Jardins neighborhood. With a laid-back feel with bohemian bars and artisan shops, Vila Madalena is also a good alternative.

Whether you arrive at Guarulhos International Airport or Congonhas Airport, don’t miss the deals on Sao Paulo accommodations available on Booking.com!

São Paulo is a huge, chaotic city full of life, people, and culture. The food scene is amazing — don’t miss the picanha or the Municipal Market. It has bars and music on every corner, offering a true party vibe. However, the city isn’t the cleanest, and safety can be a concern. Traffic is intense, but despite its flaws, it's a place worth experiencing at least once.

I absolutely loved my time in São Paulo!

I absolutely loved my time in São Paulo! I lived here 10 years ago, and it's incredible to see how much the city has changed and evolved. If you're a food lover, this place is a dream come true. The variety is overwhelming—in the best way possible. You'll find flavors from all over Brazil and the world, all in one city. I had some of the best coffees and meals I've ever tasted—honestly, even London and NYC can't compete. There's something about the freshness of the ingredients and the way Brazilians cook that makes every bite unforgettable. This trip was also special because it was my first time visiting with my 6-year-old. While I found there are fewer entertainment options for young kids compared to other big cities, there were still a couple of highlights. I highly recommend a visit to Parque da Mônica—super fun and full of local character. Also, a picnic in Ibirapuera Park is a must. It’s beautiful, relaxing, and perfect for a family day out.

The local authorities are attempting to deal with the safety...

The local authorities are attempting to deal with the safety problems that are recurrently publicized in the daily news. At least in the more touristic places, like Avenida Paulista, you can see police cars on every block with an effective dissuasive effect, increasing the feeling of safety. Nevertheless, in the other parts of the city, such surveillance intensity is not visible, and every São Paulo native tells you to be sharp all the time and to be aware of where problematic areas are located, obtaining prior information before you go to any location in the city. Such problematic areas include, sometimes, some theoretical tourist places.

Uber is super cheap from there and Metro lines are good and easy to connect to Japan town in the morning for lunch and came back easily from Av. paulista in the evening when dark and felt super safe. Area is SUPER clean didnt see a single thrash on the floor of the streets. ' take a bit of care at japanese town. Super safe in Vila madalena and Pinheiros area and Av. Paulista around 6-7PM. AMAZING FOOD probablly the best food destiny Ive been in south america and top 10 world. Sao Paulo is same price as Rio, Salvador but MUUUUCH safer and cleaner tha Rio ans Salvador. Sao Paulo is more expensive than Curitiba, Ouro Preto, Ilhabela, Ilha do Mel and FLORIANOPOLIS and less safe than those too!! Super modern vibe with absurd amount of italian speakers and descendents plus almost half size of japanese population, literally THOUSANDS of japanese restaurants and pp speaking japanese all aorund. Plus super numerous christian arab popoulations. Interesting city. The SOuthern New York!

In addition to the fact that we had a bank card stolen from a wallet we left in our room in our last night at this hotel, and wasted our last morning in São Paulo registering the crime with the local police, our four nights stay was full of small disappointments. This hotel definitely needs some updating and management changes. No one at the reception, or restaurant, could speak any English or was prepared to deal with the occurrence of a crime. Definitely not worth.

We stayed here on our honeymoon and had a fantastic experience. All of the staff were very friendly, looked after us (especially as our Portuguese is limited) and made our stay very memorable. We loved all of the facilities - the gym, spa, restaurants, pools and rooms all are setup to a feel luxurious. We would recommend to anyone visiting to São Paulo looking for a luxury and relaxing hotel stay.
